Previously known as Geneva Cornavin Railway Station, the train station is central to Geneva’s public transport system and is located in the Cornavin region, right in the city center. The station offers over 400 train services each day for both domestic and international services, with two of the platforms even offering border control for Switzerland and France. The train station was renovated in 2014 and is now a central transport hub for the city. In addition to extensive train services, it offers easy connections to buses and trams with stops located just outside the building.
