About O’Hare Airport
O’Hare Airport (ORD) is located in Northwest Chicago, 14 miles from the Loop business district. It succeeded Chicago Midway International Airport as the city’s primary aviation hub in 1955. O’Hare is unique in that it’s a major hub for more than one of the main air carriers based in the United States.
